Rob, Thanks for your trip report and pics of Bayeux/Normandy beaches. My wife and I will be in Bayeux 29 Sept – 04 Oct 2011. We also plan to rent a car from SCAUTO and that caught my attention – but the monologe was great (sorry about the foot action).

I’m a retired submarine sailor RMCS(SS) and looking forward to reading your “Submarine Warriors”

Rob,
I am an elderly retired pensioner using Visual Basic Express and am attempting to learn with SqlServerCe. I have downloaded and installed Compact Edition 4, but cannot access it. Is it compatable with VB Express 2010? If Yes, what elso do I need to do to use this latest version. I have your book SQL Server CE Database Development with the .Net framework which i am finding very useful.
Hope you can find the time to respond.

Hi Ken. I think you may need Service Pack 1 for Visual Studio and I think there are some other tools to download from microsoft.com for working with SQLCE 4. You should be able to work with SQLCE 3.5 with your existing tools. Good luck with your development efforts!
