WordPress 4.1 is here with a new way to write plus a new way to show off your best work.
Since we’re closing out the end of 2014, it’s only appropriate that our friends at WordPress would introduce the Twenty Fifteen theme. A reversal from last year’s photo-focused theme, this new default theme is squarely targeted at bloggers. This mobile-first theme ensures your content looks great on smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops. Additionally, it utilizes Google’s Noto fonts to support all the world’s languages with typography that’s readable on any screen size.
Another great feature is distraction-free writing mode where everything surrounding the editor fades away when you start typing. Moving your mouse out of the editor to reveals everything again. It’s a great way to stay super-focused when creating content.
Last but not least, you have the option to switch WordPress to one of 44 languages, easily embed Vine videos by pasting a URL, and get Plugin recommendations. Go check it out!
